01 / The identity

Made for
real life.

Sophistication without distance. Presence without performance.

A little weathered.
Entirely human.

Adam envisioned a brand that feels confident and considered without becoming polished to the point of feeling impersonal. Its character draws on lived experience, classic editorial design, a vintage sensibility, and the freedom to be more than one thing.

The goal is to communicate meticulous attention to detail while leaving room for a real person. It should feel credible to colleagues and approachable to someone considering therapy, with warmth and directness working together.

Visual direction

Editorial, warm, lived-in, textured, masculine, cinematic, intentional, and timeless. The palette and graphic system support that atmosphere without resorting to generic therapy imagery.

“Sophistication without feeling exclusive. Raw without being unprofessional.”Adam's visual excavation
Emotional tone
Trust, confidence, and a steady presence. The identity should invite a sense of possibility rather than suggest that clients need to present a perfected version of themselves.
Verbal identity
Smart, warm, direct, and occasionally funny. Natural language, specific observations, and an unmistakably human voice instead of generic therapy-speak.
Balance
Classic and modern, minimal and expressive, grounded and slightly irreverent. Those tensions are a defining part of the identity.

Different moods.

Horizontal
Use for wide compositions where a full wordmark can remain clear and comfortably spaced.
Stacked
Use the vertically composed versions where a narrower composition better fits the available space. Preserve each original export's proportions.
Submark
A compact expression of the identity for smaller supporting placements. Do not stretch or reconstruct the mark.
Backgrounds
Switch between the provided light and dark assets to maintain readability. Check the result in context, particularly when using mid-tone colors.

A quick way to see how foreground and background choices change the feeling of an identity.

01. The parts you keep ignoring
YOU DON’T HAVE
TO PERFORM HERE.

There’s a reason you are the way you are. Let’s figure out what that is, without making you wrong for it.

Foundation

Quiet space.

Cream and ink create the most restrained and readable foundation.

Earth tones

Lived-in.

Olive and tobacco contribute a grounded, vintage atmosphere.

Expressive notes

A little range.

Slate blue, mustard, and oxblood introduce contrast and personality.

These are suggested roles for using the supplied palette, not fixed percentages. The interactive contrast readout checks text legibility; not every combination is suitable for body text.

04 / Typography

Words should
feel like you.

The parts you don't ignore.
Heading / Avenue Regular
Life, uninterrupted.

Use for prominent, confident headlines. Uppercase is central to the intended specimen treatment.

Accent / Offset TM
A different perspective.

Expressive supporting moments, eyebrow copy, and occasional editorial contrast.

Body / Familjen Grotesk
Make room for every part of the story. Clear, composed, and easy to read.

Readable paragraphs, interface text, and longer information.

Hierarchy / Three voices
01 / The essential things
No performance needed.

Specific, direct language makes the message feel human.

Pairing all three fonts together establishes the intended order: accent, heading, then body.

Available cuts
Avenue Regular; Offset TM; Familjen Grotesk Regular, Medium, and Italic. Use only the supplied, verified styles.
Type in practice
Keep headings intentional and relatively short. Let Familjen handle longer reading, and use Offset selectively so its character stays noticeable.
Sizes and spacing
Scale typography responsively to the medium. Exact desktop and mobile specifications should be established for each finished website or print application.
05 / Supporting system

The details
do the talking.

Logo variations, submarks, and patterns belong together as a system. Explore original approved artwork, view each pattern as supplied, and download the source files.

06 / Brand in practice

The system
together.

The real test of a visual identity is how the pieces behave together.

The space to be human.
There's more to your story.

Warm, clear language paired with strong hierarchy and an understated dark canvas.

A more considered way forward.
Life isn't one thing.

Airy cream, confident headline type, and a restrained expressive accent.

Do
Use original logo exports, retain comfortable negative space, and give clear copy priority over decoration.
Do
Use the three-font hierarchy deliberately: Offset for the opening cue, Avenue for the primary message, Familjen for supporting copy.
Avoid
Distorting any mark, obscuring text with busy artwork, or allowing motifs to compete with important messages.
Avoid
Assuming that every palette pairing is readable. Check text contrast, particularly for smaller type.

The two compositions above illustrate a direction for putting the identity to work. They are not separate approved campaign assets or mandatory layouts.

07 / Asset library
